“Who places a bunch of cute cats and their litter in statue form in the middle of the bustling road of the city centre ? ONLY In Kuching. This iconic statue , dressed up on occasions is a picture worthy shot for tourist visiting Kuching. There's 2 statues along the road , look out for them. ”

“Filled to the brim with antiques, this is the middle of a complex of restaurants and bars – each with different names housed in three 1920s shophouses. The Junk has a busy kitchen and the food here is very good. Pasta mains cost RM30 to RM40, pizzas are RM30 to RM45; other mains include Fisherman's Basket (RM40) and rib-eye steak (RM70). Portions are generous.”

“A place with a lot of seafood. Good place to have dinner with family. Even though it can get really crowded and have to wait for table, trust me. Just wait and enjoy the food. Seafood is fresh. Cooked to perfection. I personally like the oyster pancake. So crispy. ”

Point of Interest
“It has been renovated to house a restaurant, cafe and exhibition halls. It still retains the charm of the old courthouse appearance. The cafe serves from breakfast till night. In the morning, talk a stroll along the waterfront and have breakfast here. Directions: Walk to the end of waterfront, then cross the road. Approx 10/15 mins.”
