Not far from Colosseum, Rione Monti is the oldest district of Rome . Along its streets you can find craft shops , art galleries , restaurants and cocktail bars.

Monti is one of the twelve Rioni of Rome. It means mountains and comes from the fact that the Esquiline and the Viminal Hills, and parts of the Quirinal and the Caelian Hills belonged to this rione.

One of the best place in town where to go in the evening for a glass of wine or a cocktail! Full of life and in the middle of the "suburra". In ancient Roman times the "suburra" was a crowded lower-class area and now is a trendy and fascinating one!
