Best pub meals and plenty to choose on tap. Live music on weekends. Great service.
Hands down best schnitty in Adelaide. I have tried many places and I always come back to the Fox. The pub itself is very unique, and there is indoor and outdoor dining available. The pub is also a short walk to The Gully pub where you can go for a drink in the beautiful beer garden.
7 minutes drive away is The Fox and Firkin, a British Pub set at the base of the Adelaide hills. Built in 1853 as a flour mill it is one of Tea Tree Gully’s oldest historical buildings. Set in a casual locale with exposed-stone walls and a beer garden, with a nice selection of beers on tap including many imported from the UK and good hearty meals to accompany them. Dining is available inside and outside in the beer garden. Both areas have fireplaces for the colder months. The beer garden has cooling misters for hot summer days. There is usually acoustic music on Saturday nights. A great ambience. Worth a visit.
