A traditional Austin institution known for well made, cute, but not over-the-top confectionery. If you are expecting fancy patisserie dainty creations, you may be disappointed. But if you like cute cookies with whimsical decoration, and all the traditional favorite cakes, you will love this place.

Super old-Austin coffee and baked goods hangout. Full of colorful locals, Austin artwork. Order the "Leo's Crowbar" (4 shots of expresso; a quad macchiato) invited by a young barista 30 years ago

This is an old Austin favorite. Bustling and lively, couched between a cheese shop, a Mexican restaurant, and a cute bar. Happy hour pastries (2 for 1) every day at 6:30.

The best pastries made fresh daily! Great spot for morning coffee or late night snack. They have pies too! I used to come here in college to study too! Lines get long weekend mornings, but worth the wait!

Visit Quack's for awesome vibes, wonderful pastries (and delicious sugar cookies you can't say no to). The coffee rocks as well! Highly recommend.
