“Larger grocery store= Thrifty Foods plaza 15 minute walk right on Fairfield rd past Moss st. Across from historical Ross Bay cemetery on your right- has a hardware, pharmacy, liquor store, Starbucks, pizza, pet food and more. Ross Bay pub too!”

“A castle in Canada. One of two in Victoria that appear in many movies and TV shows. There are audio guides and tours. 26.2km or a 30 minute drive away.”

“If you like cemeteries, you're in for a treat. Ross Bay Cemetery, established in the late 1800's, is the final resting place for many notable and interesting individuals including Emily Carr (artist), the Rogers family (chocolatier), and victims of the SS Princess Sophia which has been referred to as the "Titanic of the West Coast". Nature lovers take note, this is a hang out spot for many local deer (loved by some, loathed by others, especially gardeners), so keep an eye out. :)”

“Elegant 200 acre Victorian park with trees, landscaped gardens, ponds and peacocks. There is also a petting zoo in the summer time which is great for the kids.”

“Victoria's favorite farmers market is bustling with more than 100 stalls piled high with regional produce as well as arts and crafts. Come hungry since there are lots of food stands where you can stuff your face.”
