Lizzie Borden, took an axe. She gave her mother 40 whacks. When she saw what she had done, she gave her father 41. Or so the old rhyme goes.... A more macabre part of our history... Evidently, in a very old house where everything could be heard everywhere as is typical of houses from the era, Lizzie's parents were killed right above her head in a gruesome execution that involved many whacks with an axe. The bodies hit the floor, but Lizzie, claimed she heard nothing. She claimed she didn't do it and that she had no idea what was happening at the time. She is the historical OJ of Boston.
