Called Bush, in it's hay day. Emerson and his wife Lydian lived here. They had several children and hosted many gatherings of the most artistic, creative, and philosophical thinkers in the Boston area. I

History Museum
“This is another location associated with Louisa May Alcott the writer of Little Women. After her father's settlement and philosophy experiment of Fruitlands in the town of Harvard failed, and the family almost starved to death, they moved to Concord. Not far from Bush, the home of Emerson. Emerson started a slightly less hard core settlement in Concord. This became their family homestead in Concord.”
