I’ve yet to make it here, but this is where the highest mountain in Maine is as well as the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.

Do you want to see a moose? Contact Baxter State Park for info of entrance to Daicey Pond. Chances are, you will see one there.

This is a very beautiful State park with the largest mountain in maine in it. It is definitely on the bucket list of things to do and see while in maine. This park would be a good long day trip.
