Not to be missed. Absolutely stunning place to visit. A protected area that is truly peaceful and virtually untouched. Millions of sandpipers stop by here once a year to rest and feed on mud shrimp before there great migration south.
Mary’s Point Bird Sanctuary/Shepody National Wildlife area. Walking trail and interpretive centre.
Birders don't miss this. Eagles, cranes, semipalmated sandpipers and more. Excellent wetland for water fowl.
Shore bird sanctuary. Large colony of Sandpipers. Endless beaches. View across bay to Nova Scotia coastline.
