An easy hike right in the center of Rapid City! Very cool, short hike through the trees leading to an overlook of Rapid. If you're short on time but wanna say you climbed the Black Hills, this is the place to do it. Impressive view from the top.

Stop by the big M in the mountainside (for South Dakota School of Mines). A relatively easy hike, but be on the lookout for rattlesnakes.

M Hill is a 1.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Rapid City, South Dakota that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
