Killaloe River Cruises depart 1pm daily from the Ballina (County Tipperary) side of the attractive twin-town of Killaloe-Ballina on the shores of the River Shannon. They offer a daily one-hour cruise on the river Shannon and into Lough Derg at 1pm daily (check their website to confirm timing, and their other offerings). You can purchase prosecco, beer, wine, gin etc and snacks on the boat, and soak up the views of the shores of counties Clare and Tipperary, whilst listening to a brief commentary. 35 mins from Bluebell Cottage.
