Currently changing hands and to reopen winter 2021 (and looks exciting.) There's no cozier old American Inn restaurant space in the region. It's close-by and in the colder seasons try to get a reservation by one of the fireplaces. stissinghouse.com

Recently re-opened and helmed by Clare De Boer (for those coming from NYC, of King in the West Village), delicious food cooked in a wood-fired oven. Our favorite restaurant in the area, would highly recommend making reservations. In the town of Pine Plains.
