De Waal Park is a quiet park in the city, which lies off Camp Street. The park is popular among dog walks, with a special fountain designed for its canine visitors. There is plenty of open space, with a playground area for kids, lots of trees and paths to explore. During the summer months, free concerts are held at the park on weekends. The park is ideal for a picnic, a walk about or the chance to simply relax and enjoy some fresh air.
