This might be my favorite restaurant in Houston. It's always such a fun evening here. Gyu-kaku is an authentic Japanese bbq place that originated and still exist all over Japan. Make a reservation several days in advance, tables fill up fast. You will have a grill at your own table, where you are in charge of cooking your own meat, fish, and vegetables. There are also lots of side dishes, ramen, udon, rice bowls, dumplings, salads, to enjoy along with your bbq. The hot wings are a must-try appetizer! It truly feels like you are at a local bar in Japan.
