This is one of the prettiest beaches on the Kona Side, but kind of hidden. Take the Hapuna Beach exit off the highway, but turn left before you get to the parking lot for Hapuna. Follow single lane road for about 1/2 mile. This beach is shady, has a couple picnic tables, white sand, and gorgeous…

Also known as "Beach 69," this is one of our favorite beaches. There is usually a shady spot to be found, and it is often breezy, but somewhat protected. Watch out for kiawe thorns!

Local favorite for great swimming and snorkeling and trees that sometimes hang over the water so you can have plenty of shade to have a longer day at the beach. #1 favorite of mine.

Waialea Bay is a local favorite and great for snorkeling early in the AM when the ocean is calm.
