Cambridge has plenty of good pubs and beer. The Pint Shop generally has the most impressive beers, across 23 lines, and is situated in the centre, just off the Market (Brewdog will soon be opening a few doors down). The two main areas by the river are also well served – from Quayside, where the Punt…
Another rather hip bar by Cambridge standards, specializing in cutting-edge craft beers
Right in the centre of town - Peas Hill - near the market and all the restaurants (THE MAP HERE IS WRONG FOR SOME REASON). Large selection of artisan beer, lager, gin and good wines. Trendy but mature atmosphere. Quality dining too.
Great local restaurant with friendly, relaxed atmosphere and good food in the middle of Cambridge.
A pub with a tavern feel, brilliant stop for some local ales or a huge gin menu, the rock shandy is pretty great too for a non-alcoholic option. The food is pretty good here too!

“Hot Numbers Coffee has 2 locations, both fabulous and as expected very busy. Another family owned and operated indy, the owner is an absolute stand-up gent - Simon is coffee roaster by day, DJ by night. Also an avid collector of vintage motorcycles and coffee machines which are now on display at his roastery in Stapleford Granary, CB22 5BP. Take a little bike ride out to Haslingfield and you can visit his wife Nilu's cafe - the Moringa Tree. Haslingfield is also an idyllic little english village much smaller than Cambridge with church grounds, and a gift shop. Well worth the visit!”
