Hudson River Park has one of the best views of the sunrise and sunset in the evening. There are lots of great parks and piers along the route. Here you can find people playing tennis, basketball, yoga, running, biking, and so much more. This is a great place to take a stroll alongside the Hudson River!

Beautiful park itself but within it is the new floating park which is really worth a trip. Depending on the day/time reservations may be necessary, please refer to their website

Hudson River Park is a waterside park on the North River, and is the part of the Manhattan Waterfront Greenway that extends from 59th Street south to Battery Park in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is a joint state and city collaboration, but is organized as a New York State public-benefit corporation. Riding a bicycle along the Hudson River is my favorite, It’s so beautiful, scenic and calm. You’re surrounded by everyone doing the same thing and sharing that space.

Great views of the Hudson River; restaurants, rock climbing, golfing, skating, and more.

The High Line may be all the rage these days, but one block away from that famous elevated green space stretches a 5-mile-long ribbon of green that has dramatically transformed the city over the past decade. Covering 550 acres and running from Battery Park at Manhattan's southern tip to 59th St in Midtown, the Hudson River Park is Manhattan's wondrous backyard. The long riverside path is a great spot for cycling, running and strolling.
