Lovely spot just 10 minutes by car. Enjoy a drink or meal outside by the lake or inside in lovely surroundings. The spa is brand new for 2022. I have not tried it yet.

At the southern end of Lake Windermere, this hotel restaurant offers great food and a superb drive home.

Games room, spa, seats by the river and fantastic Sunday roasts. You can book the restaurant or bar area depending on your preference. We always like walking off a lunch up through the boats moored near the hotel.

Be sure to book a meal at the swan at Newby Bridge, there are gorgeous lakeside views and the food is great
