Take time to see the Harbour Town Lighthouse. There are shops and restaurants nearby as well. There is a $10 gate fee for the day. The Quarterdeck is a beautiful setting with fantastic views. $$$ and need reservations but worth the splurge

In the Sea Pines Plantation, this historic lighthouse is a must see. There are shops, restaurants, and a pier to visit and most likely see dolphins and maybe manatee. While driving in Sea Pines to get to the lighthouse, look for the alligators by the ponds. *Remember they are fast-do not go near them.
