Even before you've stepped into the museum, the hosepipe fountain is a delight. Arles was where Van Gogh produced his finest masterpieces – within the space of just 15 months between February 1988 and May 1888. Inaugurated in April 2014, the Foundation Vincent van Gogh Arles pays due homage to the work of Van Gogh while at the same time exploring his impact upon art today.

Brand new museum showcasing some of the work of Vincent Van Gogh. Not many original pieces, but he Van Gogh is an important person in Arles history, and Arles has been very important to Van Gogh.
