Tourist Lumahai Is a very unique beautiful beach requiring a gentle but maybe slippery hike down, with an unmarked parking location on the side of the road as you leave Hanalei going towards Tunnels. Look for cars parked along the road as it curves at the outer rim of the bay or refer to guide books for a map. The interesting rock formation creates a bathtub in the ocean that has rocking waves with incredibly beautiful turquoise water as it is further out than Hanalei Bay. Not a good location for swimming if its winter time and big waves.

In 1958, Mitzi Gaynor sang, "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" here. Stunning beach. Uncrowded. Very short walk down a trail to get there. Have spent many hours at this gorgeous beach.
