Newbury Street is located in the Back Bay area of Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States. It runs roughly east-to-west, from the Boston Public Garden to Brookline Avenue. The road crosses many major arteries along its path, with an entrance to the Mass Pike westbound at Mass Ave.

A long strip of boutiques, restaurants, and beauty salons. Boston's mini version of New York's "Fifth Avenue".

Newbury St has both popular clothing stores and little-known boutiques; a great place to spend the afternoon shopping and then to settle down for dinner and drinks.

Art Museum
“One of the most highly regarded museums in the world, the massive Museum of Fine Arts boasts about half a million objects spanning the centuries from ancient Egypt to present-day artwork. The museum officially opened its doors in 1876, with a little over 5,500 objects. What a difference a century-plus makes! It’s best to make a game plan of what you want to see because tackling the museum in a few hours, or even a day, is impossible. Highlights include more than 70 works by John Singleton Copley and major paintings by Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and Edward Hopper. Paintings aren’t your thing? African masks, Native American pottery, mummies, musical instruments, and practically any other media you can think of have a home at the museum. Daily free one-hour guided tours give a good overview.”

“If you're walking through the streets of Beacon Hill or the pathways of the Boston Common, you'll notice a building with a golden dome, made from copper and topped with gold. That's the Massachusetts State House, which has been there since 1798 and houses the state's government. There's plenty of Massachusetts history to take in if you visit for a free tour.”

“Historic Italian neighborhood. Great restaurants (many of the best tucked away off of Hanover St.!) and be sure to put your vote in on the best cannoli - Mike's and Modern's on Hanover are the most popular, but Bova's is my personal favorite!”

“The Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile-long path through downtown Boston, Massachusetts, that passes by 16 locations significant to the history of the United States. Marked largely with brick, it winds between Boston Common to the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown.”
