Kertész utca 33. used to function as a fireplace (kandalló) store, hence the name of Kandalló Artisanal Pub (Kandalló Kézműves Pub). The resourceful handicraft design and the fire behind the bar guarantee a cozy atmosphere, and it also helps that the staff are also quite friendly and care about our satisfaction – even the chef comes out every once in a while to entertain the guests. However, Kandalló is more of a drinking place, with beers by the breweries Békésszentandrási, Rizmajer and Gyertyános, quality wines from Szemes, Szecskő, Szentesi, Károly Barta, and Géza Légli, and pálinka from Márkházy and Gyulai.
