"A lot of cool, custom things have been fabricated just for this project. It's something completely unique." Unique and massive. Boathouse's sprawling, resort-style complex includes 7,700 square feet of palm-thatched tiki huts surrounded by lounge chairs, cabanas, a pool and even a sandy beach area along the banks of the Caloosahatchee River .

We love going here with our kids around dinner time. They usually have a live musician playing on the bar side closet to the bridge. That’s the side we’ll usually sit on and our kids will get up and dance to the music while we hang out and eat. They get to get-up, have fun and be kids while we get to watch them having fun. The Boathouse Tiki Bar and Grill is the first restaurant we've been with a swimming pool! At the time of writing, the pool is open to all patrons 12+ years of age. There are three separate areas, the Tiki bars, the pool area and the Adirondack chairs near the fire pit. The seating is basic outdoor but with many fans and mists blowing, it is surprising not hot under the Florida sun! The Adirondack chairs section does have a fire pit that they usually lite around dinner time and is a great place to sit and watch the sunset over the Caloosahatchee River. They also have corn hole setup in this section. **TIP: This place doesn’t take reservations. But if you call ahead before arriving and say, “I’m calling ahead to put my name on the list and I’ll be there in under 30 mins” they’ll put you on the list. Allowing you to skip the line. :)
