Built in 1650 by Erik Gyllenstierna, Nynäs Slott has been the abode of many royal lineages. Today, visitors are invited to take a tour of the castle with its well-retained furniture, paintings and other artifacts that give a glimpse of the lifestyle of noblemen. The castle is surrounded by a farm and a nature reserve, providing various outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, cycling, water-sports, winter sports, nature walks and sunbathing, to name a few. Add to it the lineup of exhibitions, cultural events, concerts and festivals, and you have a complete outing with family and friends.

During the summer there are exhibitions. Especially appreciated by the younger ones is "Älskas...ätas" (To be Loved or Eaten) about our complex relations towards pets and production animals. Entrance is free.

A beautiful manor with lovely gardens and a resturant with good food, check the opening hours. Sometimes concerts and theatre is going on also.
