The Pearl is a vibrant part of San Antonio! The Culinary Institute attracts some of the best restaurants and Hotel Emma is an award winning, MUST SEE boutique hotel! Farmer's market and live music most weekends.

Great live music, in a great historic building. Best bartender in Lockhart. It is a great local hangout surrounded by cute shops and eateries.

The farmers market (weekend mornings) is great fun. Great restaurants (Supper, Southerleigh, Cured, Bakery Lorraine, etc). Highly recommend the (free) walking tour (offered 2-3 times a day) of the Pearl Brewery. We've done it several times with out-of-town guests, and we still enjoy it!
