Beacon Hill Park is located along the south shore of Victoria and the Juan de Fuca Strait. It has been a park belonging to the city of Victoria since 1882. A trust was then established for the 62-acre (24.8-hectare) site.

With over 200 acres of park land, Beacon Hill Park is the crowning jewel in Victoria's park system. There are natural areas, manicured flower beds, petting zoo, footpaths and many sports and play features for the whole family to enjoy.
