6.4 miles. 18 mins drive. At Amersham. Open every day from 8 am. Large but busy pub/restaurant in the middle of Amersham. Open every day from 8 am for breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner. Offers a 'bottomless brunch' for £30. (i.e. A meal item plus all-you-can-drink Prosecco, Mimosas, Craft Beers or Coffee)

Likely the best of the new generation restaurant and pub, which have a roaring trade for drinks on a Friday night with friends and family enjoying the ourdoor seating or open indoor spaces or the excellent cooking. Their steaks are cooked in a Spanish Josper grill, and pizzas in a real woodfired oven. Both are superb. Our favourite restaurant, and kid-friendly too. Also has a store in Beaconsfield, equally good, both doing well deservedly because of their excellence.
