The NOAA building has a huge interactive boat that our kids love, as well as an indoor tunnel climbing area and a small planetarium type space. It's free to enter, and I highly recommend it!

Learn about the hundreds of shipwrecks in Thunder Bay! You can also go on a glass bottom boat tour to see some shallow wrecks firsthand!

This museum is a hidden gem in our city. Thunder Bay offers the only fresh water marine sanctuary in the nation and it was established to preserve the shipwrecks that are so well preserved here due to the fresh, cold water! This is a great place for young and old alike and is free on charge (donations accepted).
