Perhaps the most visited nature area in Oslo. Take the t-bane (tube / metro) to "Sognsvann" and walk down to the lake where you can camp out, take a swim or walk around the lake. If you like longer hikes or runs you can follow every road that springs out of the lake. The one to "Ullevålsæter" is nice and 5km from Sognsvann. There are signposts at most crossroads pointing back to your direction "Sognsvann". If going for an even longer trip, please put a point on the map on your phone, so you can't get lost! :) Oh, and the trails are amazing and also springs out from the roads. Most of them leads back to a major road.

This is a very nice place to go swimming, and from here you can find many paths for hiking in the 'Nordmarka'.

Want to take a hike or walk out in the nature. Just a short ride on the subway.

Lots of trails in the woods and a nice place for trekking.

You can walk around the pond. Its popular, and crowded, but nice and worth the trip. I would avoid swimming here, because of paracites in the water.
