LOCAL cafes and restaurants… Our favourite and closest restaurant is Sips at Mobys. They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner during the busy periods. During the off season they are only open Friday-Sunday. Other cafes close by are….. Kembali, Drift, Hueys at Blueys (great pizza and they deliver for $4) Pacific Palms Rec Club,(on Wallis Lake), The Good Food Store at Smiths Lake shops or Frothy Coffee on Smiths Lake. If you are going to Seal Rocks beach for the day there is a small convenience store and a caravan cafe (Single Fin) that does amazing coffee, treats and toasties. FORSTER cafes and restaurants (20 min drive) cafes Nineteen 59 Plunge Forster Wingman Coffee Tartt Beach Bums Cafe (on Forster Beach). Restaurants Wharf street Cafe Toscano (Italian), Isola Riva(mediterranean share plates) Si Senorita (Mexican), Thirty Three Degrees in Tuncurry( incredible food, specialise in local oysters and seafood) You can also order platters from Ashley at sea and salt grazing. A cook or chef can come to Umi and cook for your group. Cass from Wholefood staples Sarah Wilton from Chef Sarah Need a special cake? Our local baking queen Nadine the Cake Queen can help Shopping Unfortunately our seafood shop closed so now you have to go to Forster for your seafood. The closest and best supermarket is Foodworks at Charlotte Bay. There is a smaller supermarket at Blueys shops which you can walk to but it is expensive. Blueys shops also have a surf shop, Heidi Beau boutique with women’s wear and homewares, a chemist, a beauty therapist , a liquor store/deli and real estate agents. There is a Coles and Woolworths at Forster which is only 20 mins away or get them delivered! There are also many surf shops, boutiques and Homewares.

Another great beach to let doggo run free until 8:00a.m. each day. Please be mindful that only parts of the beach allow this. Blueys Beach is another famous Pacific Palms surfing beach. It has great surfing and swimming with stunning views across to Seal Rocks. Legend has it the beach gained its name from a misadventure by a local cow. Cows can still be spotted on the southern headland. Boomerang Beach and Elizabeth Beach are nearby alternatives for sheltered and patrolled options for families.
