When the now beloved fast-casual Mediterranean-slash-Israeli restaurant, Yafo Kitchen, opened with an emphasis on healthy and international food, Charlotte went nuts. Now, with two locations and a third to open soon, Yafo is easily a Charlotte staple -- all in less than two years. Lamb, yogurt dressing, tahini and falafel have all become mainstays in a city known for Southern fried food and we couldn’t be happier about it.

Amazing fast casual concept for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. Don't let the long line intimidate you, it moves fast and is worth the wait. Chicken Shawarma bowl with rice highly recommended.

Serves fresh, healthy and delicious Middle Eastern-Israeli street food. Hummus, tabouleh, falafel, salads, wraps, rotisserie chicken, roasted vegetables, laffah bread baked round the clock in the window...so good! Try the mac n' cheese and roasted brussel sprouts as your sides.
