Make sure you take the ferry that goes daily to Antiparos and spend the day in this beautiful sister island of Paros. Did you know Tom Hanks has a summer house there and goes every summer? The main town is especially perfect to walk through the shops and explore the depth and variety of places and things to do!

Fun trip over on ferry from Paros. Take a walk all up the market street all the way to the main square. Go through and visit the Kastro. Then continue on through to Sifneos (sunset) beach. You can also visit caves on way to Ag. Georgios in the day time.

A short boat ride from the port of Pounda or Parikia, Antiparos makes for a lovely excursion. It's lined with beautiful beaches and is unimaginably laidback even during the high season. Its "chora", while relatively small, features a wide collection of bars and tavernas from which you can choose. The ferry prices from Pounda are fixed (1.30 per person, 6.30 per car). The boat ride lasts 7 minutes and there are boats leaving roughly every 30 minutes, with the last one departing at around 1.30 from Pounda and 1.15 from Antiparos. The ones that leave from Parikia, on the other hand, are usually private boats so the ride lasts anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes and prices vary.
