This is a must see! During the late summer and fall months you can see the beluga whales in Cook Inlet. You can also catch surfers surfing our boretide.

Hop on the New Seward and head south for a few hours to enjoy the scenery and multiple stops along the way.

Beluga Point is aptly named for able often see Beluga pods in Turnagain Arm, although it's also a great spot for Dall sheep sightings as well if you turn and look up the mountain side. This is one of our favorite places to scramble and climb on rocks after crossing the railroad tracks. Please cross quickly with caution, and DO NOT walk along the tracks. It is often windy here. Don't forget binoculars.

Nice little afternoon picnic/day drive spot. Look for whales!

If you time your trip just right, you might see dozens (or more!) beluga whales surfacing! You might also catch a massive bore tide--one of the largest in the world. Walk out onto the point for the best views, but pay attention to signage about where it's safe to roam and where it's not.
