Located in the historic former Northern Michigan Asylum, Red Spire is absolutely a local favorite. This is where to go for a classic american breakfast done really well. Their staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is bright, and the cinnamon rolls are huge! Take a leisurely stroll around the mercato shops after your meal.

Go here to get breakfast or brunch inside historic Building 50 (3 miles from house). I recommend going early or calling ahead to get on the waitlist.

My favorite place for brunch. Fresh squeezed orange juice that is perfect in a mimosa :) The food is great too.
