The Kotsifos Gorge (Greek: Φαράγγι Κοτσιφού) is a gorge on the southern side of the western part of the island of Crete. It is situated west of the mountain of Kouroupa, north of the town of Plakias, and on the road between Sellia and Angouseliana. It is noted for the high number of Cretan endemic plant species that grow there.

The small canyon of Kotsifos starts from the village of Kanevos of Agios Vassilios and ends north of the village of Plakias, on the beach of which ends the stream of Kotsifos that flows through the canyon. The beginning of the canyon is very narrow at a width of about 10 meters, which gradually increases and reaches about 600 meters width. Its total length is 1800 meters, and its vertical sides reach a height of 500 meters. Between the imposing rocks there is a narrow asphalt road. At the southern exit of the canyon is the very picturesque stone-built church of Agios Nikolaos, which is built in a rocky cavity at the height of the road and was renovated relatively recently. In winter, an impressive small waterfall is created on the east side.

The Gorge of Kotsifou begins at the village of Kanevos and ends at the village of Plakias. Just 10 m wide at the entrance, the beginning of this gorge is very narrow, however, eventually the gorge widens out to 600m. It is 1,800m long in total and its almost perpendicular walls reach a height of 600 m. A small chapel built into a rocky cavity is situated in the gorge.
