The Cooper-Young Historic District is a culturally diverse neighbourhood of this city and it offers its visitors an array of restaurants, shops and art galleries to enjoy. Some of the best restaurants here include the pie in the sky, the Soul Fish Cafe, Java Cabana and Cafe Casablanca. Cooper-young also has a number of shopping outlets for you to empty your wallets at such as light years vintage and flashback as well as art galleries like carved designs. Here, you can also catch up on some reading at Burke’s book store or visit the Xanadu music and books shop. Lastly, you can worship at the central Christian church and the first congregational church, among a few others. I definitely recommend eating at the Soul Fish Cafe. They are famous for their delicious catfish!
