This is a very popular morning and weekend hike with locals. It takes about 45 minutes to go up. Rated as moderate. Park in the lot on the left (east) side of the Mor Furniture store. Trailhead is just down the sidewalk over the wash.Wear sunscreen and a hat. Be sure to take plenty of water. You don't want to be one of those people who needs a helicopter rescue and ends up embarassed or worse on the evening news. Trailhead is at: 72115 CA-111, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270
