It’s the closest luau to Hibiscus Studio. Hukilau Market has lots of cool shops to check out and different places to eat at. If you’ve ever had interest in the Polynesian Culture this is the perfect place to experience.

Amerikaans restaurant
“Actually not my favorite, but lots of people love it. It is very close to the cottage, offers fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, plate lunches, salads and more. The layout is awful, you have to wait in line to order while people have to squeeze by you to get into the shop to get their drinks and other items before squeezing back past you to get to the back of the line. Still it is like a right of passage on the North Shore and their malsadas are delicious.”

Natural Feature
“One of my favorite beaches on the island and just a short drive away. During the summer the heat is real here and the water is as clear and refreshing as it gets! For winter months the waves are very strong and is not a swimmable beach, but it is fun to visit and watch the swell and brave surfers in awe.”

Park
“You’ll pass it driving to Haleiwa. If you have time I’d recommend watching the sunset one day. It’s a great beach to swim at during any season but winter. Winter season is big surf and usually has surf competitions you can check out. ”
