There is hardly another monument in the city of Basel that has become such a symbol of the city as the Mittlere Brücke. Opened in 1226, it is one of the oldest Rhine crossings between Lake Constance and the North Sea.

Du kannst an der Promenade spazieren gehen oder wie es viele Basler tun mit ihrem Schwimmfisch den Rhein hinab schwimmen. Am Ufer gibt es Duschen, Restaurants und Bars. Im Sommer eine sehr erfrischende Sache. Am Abend gibt es an der mittleren rheinbrücke das Floß Konzerte die kostenlos sind. Mit dem Zug erreichst du Basel in 20 minuten.
