A hike up to the top of the mountain, but worth the hike. Or you can drive....great view of the Rheinebene. The Wachenburg, located almost on the summit of the Wachenberg, was built between 1907 and 1928 as a memorial and meeting place for the Weinheimer Senioren-Convent and its active student corps. The focal point of the social life of the WSC is the annual meeting that takes place during Ascension Day. The Wachenburg houses a restaurant with an outdoor seating area.
