Great set of hiking trails south of Butte. Easy access and all types of levels from easy to difficult. Make sure to pack some water, snack and bear spray before you head out on the trails to get the most of your adventure.

Pack up your walking gear & head to Thomson Park to view the incredible views & walk the historic tracks on which mining materials were transported! Known to locals as ‘The Tressels’. It is one of my most favorite places to get away for the day!

This beautiful spot is a close drive to town, and it offers a few different hiking loops. I've seen deer, moose, and goshawks here. The wildflowers are visible right from the trail, and seasonal streams provide a refreshing ionic charge to your day.
