It’s the only Trinidadian spot in Williamsburg, and they represent well, with a flavorful menu and a beachy atmosphere inside and on the back patio. They’re known for their bakes, Caribbean-style sandwiches filled with fish or meat, pickled slaw, and chutney. But their roasted corn with coconut and cassava fries are also standouts. The Bake & Shark is a must. It’s a crispy, fried bread packed with fried shark, garlic sauce, tamarind, and an herb called “chadon beni,” a staple of Trinidadian cooking.

Colorful, island-inspired spot offering Caribbean fare & cocktails, plus a patio with picnic tables.
Traditional Caribbean and Jamaican food, good for lunch or dinner. The chicken jerk is very good, and the lamb as well.
