The new trails and walkways are friendly for bikes and pedestrians and take you right along the river

Grab an Indigo Bike from the Bike Share station at 46th and Market (right in front of the Aldi) and ride to the Schuylkill River park. You can go for miles and miles along the gorgeous and flat trail.

Art Museum
“Admission is $20 for a two day pass and you just might need it as the museum is large. It is pay as you wish on the first Sunday of every month and Wednesday nights and always free to kids 12 and under. There is free street parking north of the museum and $12 in the museum's garage with validation.”

Ontbijtbar
“This place is a Philly staple! The food is amazing (particularly the Eggs Benedict and the Potato Latke), but you will wait for a while for a table. The wait is worth it! If you are headed here for brunch, pick up a bottle of champagne (or sparkling wine) on your way and order the fresh squeezed orange juice for some BOYB mimosas. Cash only, atm on site. ”

Plaza
“Largest of four city parks offering great shopping (off Walnut street) and dining options. Pop into Parc for a bite and a cocktail at Steven Starr's flagship Art deco-inspired French Eatery (18th/Locust). Or simply sit on a park bench and enjoy people-watching (and puppy-watching). Grab a book at Joseph Fox's Bookstore (Walnut/17th) and settle into La Colombe (Walnut/19th) for an unforgettable cup of coffee.”

Bar
“Great bar about a 7 minute walk up the street. Always plenty of people around, outdoor seating in the summer. Good happy hour specials as well.”

Art Museum
“Besides the spectacular architecture of the building and the zen grounds that surround it, The Barnes in Philadelphia is home to one of the world's greatest collections of impressionist, post-impressionist, and early modernist paintings.”
