This has 2 lovely walks one shorter than the other. If you wish to walk through a varied forest try the longer one. Wild flowers dot the path especially in Spring and Autumn, but remember just to look don't pick. There is a lovely part full of grass trees and another of the fascinating Old Man Banksia. This walk ends at a man made lake with crystal clear water. A bit tricky to enter and always cold. Please remember to take all your rubbish away and be respectful of other visitors. It is a lovely quiet place to enjoy the birds and a view over water. It is a National park and dogs should not be taken in but if you do, have it on a lead as baits have ben laid to control the foxes and there is no cure for 1080 that has been ingested.

Blue Lake is fringed with paperbarks, eucalypts, reeds and banksias. This window lake provides a quiet haven for native animals and visiting bushwalkers. Blue Lake's clear blue waters are home to the soft-spined sunfish. Also look for birds, sand goannas and swamp wallabies early morning and late afternoon. Enjoy the wildflowers in spring. Walk to Neembeeba Lookout for a magnificent view over the southern part of North Stradbroke Island, the Pacific Ocean and the Gold Coast.
