This is the perfect place to take a round trip with the boat to Stansstad, the steepest cogwheel in Europe up to mount Pilatus, down on the other side with the cable car back to Lucerne. Spectacular!

several take aways on the Ground Floor at the mainstation lucerne. for a small budget too. burger King, mc Donalds, Starbucks are as expensive as these alternatives. so skip them and give local Food a chance! switzerland and especially lucerne have more to offer and it less unhealty. also check out places nearby. stay away from touristy places for Food!
