Authentic old town atmosphere (off the beaten tourist track), gourmet quality mediterranean food, a refreshingly creative menu.

At the heart of the Chania unfolds the historic ethnic quarter, where Turkish population used to live. This place specialises in fine cuisine combining Mediterranean and Middle Eastern delights. Excellent the Falafel Salad with Feta, cucumber and tomatoes, seasoned with Cretan extra-virgin olive oil. Exquisite also the Turkish starters board with mezze to dip in traditional hummus, beetroot hummus, cheese and yogurts sauces. The atmosphere is romantic and relaxed, the tables in the backyard are definitely ideal for intimacy surrounded by flowers and bushes of all colours.

Initially built during the 17th century as part of Santa Irene Orthodox temple, The Well of the Turk introduces you to the Mediterranean and Middle East cuisine, with a modernized twist. Enjoy the unique tastes that it offers and discover from within the traditional Creto- Venetian architecture and aesthetics.
