For the best sourdough in town! This bakery/cafe is a must try. They also serve great coffee and lots of delicious sweet treats.

Hands down the best bakery in Newcastle. Service can be a bit slow but then this sourdough is not one to be rushed! The pies and pastrys are superb.

Less than 20 minutes walk through Islington Park and up Downie Street .. the best bakery (and café) in NSW!

The bakery to end all bakeries. You haven't had a pie until you've had pies from uprising. Their pastries are like nothing you've ever tasted, and their fresh sourdough?? Eating is believing, get amongst. Plus batch brew and delicious espresso!
