At Cacilhas you have to most amazing view of the river Tejo and most of all Lisbon historic center. We recommend the experience the crossing of the river Tejo to get to downtown Lisbon, you arrive at Cais do Sodré. Once you get at Cais do Sodré you can explore the area on foot to Praça do Comércio, it's a nice walk by the river. At Cais do Sodré you can also grab the subway, tram or bus and explore other destinations in Lisbon.

One of the must do is to experience the crossing of the river Tejo from Cacilhas to downtown Lisbon, Cais do Sodré. That journey is made on a "cacilheiro," a single-hull ferry that does the public transportation service between the two sides of the river. There you have lot's of choice of public transportation at Cais do Sodré (tram, buses, subway), although we recommend to explore on foot Praça do Comércio, Rua Augusta and Baixa-Chiado.
