There is no shortage of Mexican restaurants in the area, but this is, hands down, our favorite. The salsa is house made, as are their hot sauces. The vegetables are fresh, and the portions are generous. The food is of good quality as is the service. Added bonus: they have our favorite beer - Delirium Tremens -- on tap.

The best dive bar around--Baja is the place to go if you're looking to feel apart of the local scene in Staunton. Warning: the bar side is a smoking bar but the restaurant is smoke-free.

There are two entries to this restaurant. One leads to the bar (and they allow smoking in there so be warned), the other leads to the restaurant. Late at night, the bar is a typical stop for those wanting a great 2nd or 3rd location place!
